3 SIGN YOUR CONTRACT & CHOOSE YOUR CLOSING DATE - Legal made easy! Our Sales Reps will guide you through the process, answering any questions you may have. Once you’re ready to sign your contract, don’t forget you will need to include your initial deposit.*

4 FIRM UP YOUR PURCHASE - Making it official! Once the contract is signed, you’ll receive an email from our team with a copy of your contract and details needed to firm up your purchase. This may include waivers, deposit cheques, financial approvals, and your lawyer’s contact information.
5 ARCHITECTURAL CHANGES AT DRAFT STUDIO - Get ready for your appointment request from our Architectural Department. Meet with the team to customize your floor plans, walls, windows, and roof, to name a few. This must be done prior to the permit application.
6 DESIGN HOUSE SELECTIONS - Get ready for your appointment request from our Design House and your personal Consultant. Choose your home’s luxurious finishes during your two Design House meetings. Browse through unique and top-of-the-line selection options and get inspired before choosing your exterior and interior finishes. You’ll love the quality of the standards that are available in each Mountainview home!
7 PLAN REVIEW - Crossing your T’s and dotting your I’s. Meet with the Site Supervisor to confirm that all your changes are in order and to review and sign off on the final plans.
8 CONSTRUCTION STARTS - Dream home work ahead! You’ve carefully and meticulously made all the plans, and now it’s time for the Mountainview team to begin building your dream home.
9 FRAMING & ELECTRICAL WALKTHROUGH - Get your construction hat and boots! You’ll receive your own hard hat and construction boots for your walkthrough so you can review the framing and locate lights, plugs, and switches.
10 HOME VISITS BY APPOINTMENT - Dream home visits. We know you can hardly wait, but if you need to visit your home while under construction, make sure you book an appointment with us first to avoid disappointment! Please note we will need up to 48 hours’ notice at certain stages of construction for safety and to coordinate workers.
11 PREPARE FOR MOVING DAY - The final details! Confirm your financing and legal details by getting in touch with your bank and lawyer to ensure they have everything they need. Schedule an appraisal with your financial lender at least 30 days prior to closing. Login to our MyHomeTracker website to make sure your utilities are ready to go!
12 PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION - Almost at the finish line! Once your home is built, you will have a pre-delivery inspection to ensure everything is in working order. We’ll guide you through the comprehensive inspection and will demonstrate how to operate your home’s systems.
13 MOVING DAY - It’s closing day! Pop the bubbly! Before you know it, your dream home is ready and it’s time to pick up your keys from your lawyer and move in!
14 20-DAY INSPECTION - Your dream home is now a reality! You may have moved in, but we haven’t forgotten about you! Twenty days after your closing date, you will have a follow-up inspection to ensure everything is as it should be!
