HOME VISITS BY APPOINTMENT - We know you can hardly wait, but if you want to visit your home while under construction, make sure you book an appointment with us first to avoid disappointment! We will need up to 48 hours’ notice at certain stages of construction for safety and coordination of tradespeople. Must be accompanied by a Mountainview Sales Professional – remember safety first! Safety equipment always required.
PREPARE FOR CLOSING DAY - The final details! Confirm your financing and legal details by getting in touch with your bank and lawyer to ensure they have everything they need. Schedule an appraisal with your financial lender at least two weeks prior to closing. Login to our MyHomeTracker website to make sure your utilities are ready to go!
PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION - Almost at the finish line! Once your home is built, you will have a Pre-Delivery Inspection (also referred to as PDI) to ensure everything is in working order. We’ll guide you through the comprehensive inspection and will demonstrate how to operate your home’s systems.
CLOSING DAY - Congratulations! It’s the big day – the day you retrieve your keys and move into your brand new home that was built just for you!
20-DAY INSPECTION - Your home is now a reality! You may have closed, but we haven’t forgotten about you! Twenty days after your closing date, you will have a follow up inspection by our construction team to ensure everything is as it should be! It’s that easy.
